10) THE OSMONDS: The Osmond brothers were American teenage music idols during the 1970s. The band got their big break at Disneyland and were a huge hit in the UK where the phenomenon was described as 'Osmondmania'. One of the brothers, Donny had a hit show 'Donny and Marie' with his younger sister. The members were also known worldwide for their solo hits. Nowadays, the group continues to perform as a quartet and their sound is more country and western, with a bit of rock and adult contemporary thrown in.
