The festive hell raisers descended on Portland for annual bar crawl ‘Santacon’. Troublemakers played dodgeball in the street, climbed trees and shed their Christmas clothing to give indecent displays.
Some of the more creative costumes included S and M Santa and Mexican Wrestler Santa.
The event has been branded a “Red Menace” by some disgruntled residents.
The town’s Benjamin Franklin Memorial statue was spray painted with the word ‘Ho’ before a Santa hat was placed on its head.
Despite the mayhem, reveller Alan Jabin insisted local law enforcement had been very cooperative during the event.
He said: “The cops were very accommodating and very friendly. They even recommended a few places.”
