During Microsoft's press conference today, Red Octane's Kai Huang took the stage to talk briefly about Guitar Hero: World Tour and plans for some big Guitar Hero downloadable songs.
Notably, not only does Activision plan to release an entire Guitar Hero: Metallica, as was previously announced, but Huang revealed that Death Magnetic will be downloadable for Guitar Hero III (and then later for World Tour) at the same time as the actual album release.
Huang also revealed that Guitar Hero: World Tour will have a new REM track pack for download before anyone else. In total, World Tour should ship with more than 85 songs. Huang was especially happy with the games music studio and the special Guitar Hero Tunes community platform for sharing music.
