Despite rumours to the contrary, the axed Australian Idol judge Kyle Sandilands may keep the radio gig that started all the controversy.
Media commentators yesterday warned Sandilands was in danger of losing the breakfast radio slot on 2DayFM's Kyle & Jackie O Show .
However, Sandilands still looms large on the station's website and a source close to the loud-mouthed host yesterday told The Diary he would return to the seat, at a yet-to-be-determined time.
In a statement released on Monday in response to his Idol dumping , Sandilands's management tried to make light of the situation; the "KingKyle: TV. Film. Multimedia. Radio" letterhead featured a red "X" through TV.
