Tuesday, 7 July 2009: Channel Seven will tomorrow bring you full coverage of Michael Jackson’s memorial concert starting with live and commercial free coverage during a special edition of Sunrise from 3am AEST.
A special encore presentation of the memorial concert will screen at 12pm tomorrow. Full reports of the memorial concert and Jackson’s private funeral service will feature in one-hour extended editions of Seven’s Afternoon News at 4.30pm and Seven News at 6pm.
Seven News reporters Mike Amor and Rahni Sadler will be on the ground in LA with comprehensive coverage of the day’s events.
A special edition of Today Tonight will start at 7pm and will include an inside look at the memorial from reporter Clare Brady, one of the lucky 17,500 people that scored tickets in the online ballot.
This will be followed by the Thank God You’re Here season finale at 7.30pm. A catch-up double episode of Home and Away will screen at 7pm Thursday, followed by Ghost Whisperer at the new time of 8pm and a special double episode of Grey’s Anatomy at 9pm.
