The women, from Ohio, were tracked down by police after their failed attempt to rob a ‘Dollar Tree’ store. When their vehicle was searched, cops found a guide titled ‘How To Commit Armed Robbery In Six Easy Steps’.

The guide – written in a joke style - had been downloaded from the internet and printed approximately 11 hours before the hold up.

The suspects, aged between 18 and 21, wore masks and used a BB gun in the raid, following some of the steps detailed in the guide.

The robbery failed after the store’s manager said he couldn’t open the safe, causing the girls to flee. All three are now being held charged with robbery.
