While gaming magazines seem in jeopardy of heading into the great heavenly recycling bin, Blizzard Entertainment and Future Publishing have announced an agreement to produce a quarterly magazine called World of Warcraft: The Magazine. Interestingly, the magazine will cost $39.95 a year, feature no ads and will only be available via subscription (so you won't find it at your favorite book shop).
For those living overseas, there will be other language versions spanning the EuroSphere with English, French, German and Spanish.
Of course, BlizzCon attendees will be the first to get a chance to subscribe. The first issue with 148 pages is due sometime this fall and will launch with a fifth anniversary perspective about the evolution of the game, it's future, and top tips from top guild leaders.
Those looking to sign up can start subscribing tomorrow through the www.worldofwarcraftthemagazine.com site.
