AOL Help - I receive a lot of unwanted emails on AOL® Mail

AOL® spam filter catches most spam and junk mail sent to your e-mail address, there will be times when some gets past the spam filter. You can report this e-mail as spam to AOL®.

Report a message as spam

All the messages you report will be moved to your spam folder, and the AOL® spam filtering system will be improved to prevent further spam messages from entering your New Mail folder or Inbox.

To report a message as spam:

1. Under the New Mail folder, click the box next to the e-mail you wish to report to place a check mark in it.

Note: It is not necessary to open the e-mail.

2. At the top of the AOL Mail window, click the Spam button.
