Public Galleries is a feature within AOL Pictures that allows you to share your pictures with the world. The public Gallery allows users to express themselves with their pictures, tag them, search for others and leave comments.
Add a Tag to a Photo
A tag is like a keyword or descriptive term. You can use them to categorize your pictures or to connect with people who have tagged their photos with the same tag. You can also use tags to organize your pictures. You can add as many tags as you want to each picture. Each tag links to related things tagged the same way, starting with your other pictures.
To add a tag to a photo:
1. Click the Public Galleries button.
2. Click the My Gallery link.
3. Click the Add tags button.
4. Click the picture you want to add the tag to, then type in the word you wish to use as a tag in the Tag(s): text box, then click the Add button.
5. Click the OK button.
Remove Tags from Photos
The Public Galleries feature also allows you to remove tags from photos.
To remove a tag from a photo:
1. Click the Public Galleries button.
2. Click the My Gallery link.
3. Click the picture you wish to remove a tag from.
4. Next to the tag you wish to remove, click the x button.
5. Click the OK button
