AOL Help-Why do we have the recently deleted folder on AOL® Mail ?

The Recently Deleted folder contains e-mails you deleted from other folders. E-mail messages remain in this folder for 24 hours before they are automatically and permanently deleted. Before this time, you can read, retrieve, or permanently delete an e-mail.
