Share pictures with AOL® Mail on the Web. You can share your pictures with your friends and family directly from the AOL Mail on the Web page. You can share your pictures by either inserting them directly into the e-mail to display with your text or as an attachment.

Insert pictures into your e-mail

When you insert a picture into your e-mail, the image will appear with the text of your e-mail. When your friend clicks the inserted picture, he/she will be taken to the AOL® Pictures site for the full size image. When your e-mail is sent, the picture will automatically be saved to your AOL® Pictures Shoebox album.

To insert a picture into your e-mail from your AOL® Pictures albums:
1. Click the Write Mail button.

2. Click the Insert Pictures button.

3. Click the AOL Pictures tab.

4. Click the album with the picture you want to insert, then select the pictures you want to insert into the e-mail.

Note: You will see a check mark next to pictures you have selected.

5. Drag and drop one of the pictures into the large text box. The rest of the selected pictures will be inserted automatically.
6. Hover over the picture. You will notice an X button in the upper right and a drop-down arrow in the upper right of the picture.
7. Use the drop-down arrow to align and resize your pictures.

8. The X button can be used if you want to delete the picture from your e-mail.

To insert a picture into your e-mail from your computer:
1. Click the Write Mail button.

2. Click the Insert Pictures button.

3. Click the My Computer tab.

4. Click the Browse for Pictures button.

5. Navigate to the folder with the picture you want to insert.
6. Double click the picture file you want to insert.
7. Repeat steps 4-6 to insert additional pictures.
8. Hover over the picture. You will notice an X button in the upper right and a drop-down arrow in the upper right of the picture.
9. Use the drop-down arrow to align and resize your pictures.

10. The X button can be used if you want to delete the picture from your e-mail.

Note: The picture section will cover the address portion of the Write Mail window. To access the address portion again, click the Back to Mail button.
