Sort the contents of your AOL® Mail on the Web mailbox
When you view the contents of an AOL Mail on the Web mailbox, the e-mail messages are automatically sorted by date. However, you can change the way messages are sorted by clicking any one of the column headings at the top of the message list. You can sort the messages in your online mailbox by e-mail address, subject heading, date received, whether you have read the e-mail, and whether you have flagged the e-mail.
To sort the contents of your AOL Mail on the Web mailbox:
1. On the AOL Mail window, click the folder you want to sort.
2. Click one of the column headings at the top of the e-mail list to sort by one of the following options:
Click the From column heading to sort messages alphabetically by the sender's e-mail address.
Click the paper clip icon to sort messages by e-mails with attachments.
Click the Subject column to sort messages alphabetically by the text on the subject line.
Click the Date column to sort messages by when they were received or sent.
Click the flag icon to sort messages by e-mails that are flagged.
Note: The column header will display an up arrow to indicate the list is being sorted in ascending order or a down arrow to indicate the list is sorted in descending order.
