AOL Help- Can I do a Spell Check on the emails that I create on AOL® Mail on the web?

Check spelling for AOL® Mail on the Web

AOL Mail on the Web offers a spell check feature to verify the spelling in your e-mail before you send it. The spell checker will highlight any word that need correction in yellow.

To check spelling:
1. Type your e-mail message.
2. In the upper left click the Spelling button. Words that have probably been misspelled will be highlighted in yellow.

3. Click one of the words highlighted in yellow. A list of options will be displayed below.

4. Click one of the suggested words on the list to correct the error.

Note: Besides the list of words that appears, you also have two other options:

Ignore this word: Clicking this option will remove the yellow highlight and ignore any correction to that word.

Ignore all: Clicking this option will remove the yellow highlight and ignore the word as it is currently spelled for every instance of the word throughout the e-mail.

5. Repeat steps 3-4 until all highlighted words are corrected or ignored.
6. Click the Exit Spelling button when you have finished making the changes.
