Gail Sorronda is a brand already recognized by the Australian fashion industry. In 2004, Gail Reid’s graduate collection featured at Australian Fashion Week and most recently she was one of the leading lights at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival, Brisbane.
She favours black and white and her fabric choices are feminine silk jersey, velvet, georgette to taffeta to create flowing dresses wrapped in billowing capes.

The Venus trap opens her mouth to reach in for her fill
The bell tower rings a chorus kept secret in her ear and the cycadas hymn their architecture of absence.
Sift through the soul till the sun freckles her dreams and the shadows shuffle to the corner of sleep
Waking to the pictures pinning her to the wall
WHITE KNIGHT uses contrast in texture and the spatial communication between the garment and the body. Its a cloak of black that envelopes the contours.
Black glistens in wet look lycra, shiny black lacquered cotton and linen a rebellion against the matt warmth of wool.
Elastic cables, spikes, fingerless gloves, lycra and sheer paneling provoke an impenetrable command of attention.
