The “Little Joe by Gail Elliott” label was born in the Hamptons of New York on November 2nd 2002. Named affectionately after her husband and partner, Joe Coffey, the line launched as a range of beautiful, flattering slips and camisoles that served not only as clothing to lounge and sleep in but could be worn out as well.
The collection was a big hit, and Gail expanded the direction of the line to give her customer a broader range of styles. From sumptuous silk and cotton dresses, tops and skirts, to knitwear in cashmere and fine wools, a woman can now create an entire wardrobe from the Little Joe by Gail Elliott line or add a few new pieces to update it.

"Little Joe by Gail Elliott is a beautiful contemporary line incorporating flowing silk camisoles, blouses and dresses. The Rose Collection was inspired by wondrous and delicate shapes seen in the Queen of the Night, Gypsy Girl and Rosa Vogue - three of my favorite roses. Hues of vanilla cream, silver greys, pale blush pinks and ethereal blues mixed with plum and chocolate are inspired by nature. It's very much my personal style, not super trendy but effortlessly chic, cool, feminine, womanly, subtly sexy, luxurious and glamourous. I am thrilled with our new collection and hope you will be truly carried away with the femininity and sensuality this season."
What are you most renowned for?
“I've modeled for the last 24 years in New York, Paris, Milan & London for every magazine including Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Elle & Marie Claire and every major designer including Versace, Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Donna Karen, Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Anna Sui, John Galliano, Jean- Paul Gaultier and many more. It is through working with all these incredibly talented people that I was lucky enough to have the best training to know how to wear and design clothing, what feels and looks great on the body, how to style clothing and what women including myself want to wear. I design for myself and my girlfriends in mind including Cindy Crawford, Helena Christensen, Yasmin Le Bon, Elle Macpherson, Elizabeth Hurley, Jessica Simpson and am flattered these beautiful women find my clothing luxurious, wearable and sexy.”
What are your two favourite things about winter?
“The first snowfall of the year in New York when you wake up in the morning and it's been snowing all night and you walk through a winter wonderland....”
