Guess Who Dropped the F-Bomb on TV?

Oops. On November 10, Joe Scarborough, host of "Morning Joe" on MSNBC, was discussing President-Elect Barack Obama's newly appointed chief of staff, Rep. Rahm Emanuel, when Scarborough said "f--- you" live on the air. But he didn't say just the first letter of the ultimate dirty word. He said the whole thing. And no one bleeped it. Kids, cover your ears.

Guess who else dropped the F-bomb this week?

This is how it happened, as reported by The Washington Post, The New York Daily News and Salon.com: Scarborough and Geist, along with several guests, were discussing the fact that Emanuel lost part of his middle finger years ago in a meat-slicing machine. That caused Sen. Barack Obama to once quip that without that middle finger Emanuel, who is well known for his tough temper, is "practically mute." And that prompted Scarborough to say that Obama should be surrounded by "good, decent, steady men that don't go around flipping people off, or screaming 'f--- you!' at the top of their lungs."

The coolest four-letter word just has to be... (Click and we'll tell you what it is!)

And Joe kept on talking as if he didn't just incur the wrath of the FCC and parents listening at the breakfast table with their children. The rest of the folks on the set were stunned. They couldn't even continue the conversation. Scarborough looked very confused. You see, he didn't realize he had said it! Finally Scarborough said, "Hold on, let me call a timeout. Did I . . ." "You meant to say the letter," show co-host Mika Brzezinski told him. "Come to Mommy, right here," she continued. "You meant to say -- " And that prompted Scarborough to ask, "Did I say the word?"

Just too dirty for words! Find out how many truly taboo words are left. You'll be shocked at this.

So he then apologized. Over and over and over. "My wife is going to kill me when I get home," he said. "I am so sorry. Great apologies. I'm going to go get some soap." Then he said his wife "just sent me a text, two words: 'Oh my.' I'm going to walk though the door, my wife is gonna say, 'You know, your daughter watches this show before she goes to school.'" Just for good measure, MSNBC issued a statement later in the day: "Joe made a mistake this morning and apologized to his viewers immediately. As he noted, the language he used was completely inappropriate."
