Meanwhile, America's sweetheart is locked in a nasty custody battle with a porn star. Sandra's husband, Jesse James, was previously married to porn star Janine Lindemulder, and the two have a 5-year-old daughter named Sunny. Although Bullock and James had been granted custody of the little girl when Lindemulder, who has starred in more than 100 porn films, was in prison for tax-evasion, Lindemulder has now out of jail and wants her kid back.
The Times of London reports that Bullock is being dragged into the custody fight to prove she is a better parent than Lindemulder, who is currently in a halfway house until year's end at which that time she plans to see custody of her daughter. That has prompted James to launch a pre-emptive legal strike, asking an Orange County, California judge to rule on whether his ex-wife is a fit mother. In a statement to the court, James said: "Good cause exists for the court to conduct a review to determine if [the girl] will be safe with [Lindemulder]. She should be restrained from allowing the child around pornographers, drug addicts, guns and firearms, felons and other unsafe environments." James married Lindemulder in 2002, but left her for Bullock when she was seven months pregnant with Sunny. He married Bullock in 2005.
