Sass & Bide return to Rosemount Australian Fashion Week with 's&b vie', the youth label of Sass & Bide.
s&b vie takes on the confidence and sexy quirk of sass & bide with a unique joviality and an innate individualism. Sexy silhouettes, exaggerated details and strong styling herald the spirit of s&b vie, which is fundamentally unconventional and effortlessly sexy.
Vintage wooden beads threaded onto a faded blue string make up the bracelet that is the inspiration for ‘rainbows for kate’. Each coloured bead honours the significance of friendship, compassion, love and understanding, and of life; a celebration of life.
‘rainbows for kate’ embraces and explores the bitter-sweet emotion of all that is mad in life and love with an exaggerated translation of colour, detail and texture. Eccentricities are mused through the contrast of vivid hues and strong patterns against fancifully pensive silhouettes and a romantic colour base of creams and grey marles, while floor length coats, mini shorts and cropped camisoles come together to create an unconventional collection filled with a sexy, yet playful combination of detailing, embellishing, shape and colour.
The fall/spring collection from s&b vie, ‘rainbows for kate’ celebrates life and love, and rediscovers an immense appreciation of all that is beautiful in life.
