Tourists in Croatia see pornography broadcast on public information screen in town centre

Tourists in Croatia were shocked to see pornography broadcast on a public information screen in a town centre.

Computer hackers performed the stunt in the town of Slavonski Brod by hijacking a screen usually used to display local cultural tips for visitors. By the time officials managed to stop the porn broadcast, a crowd had gathered and started cheering.

Embarrassed deputy Mayor, Zeljka Kristof, said: "This incident shocked a lot of people and made our visitors feel very uncomfortable.

"This is something we take very seriously because we have worked hard to give our town an image among tourists and visitors that we do not want sullied in any way. It just proves our computer systems need to be made more secure."
