Women's fashion is supposed to make women look good. A well-designed dress highlights a woman's assets, while disguising her flaws. And then there is Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, named fashion designer of the year for Miami Fashion Week 2009. She designs outfits that look more like elaborate Halloween costumes. How would you like to wear a piano? Or a giant fried egg on your dress with a piece of toast--or is it bacon?--for a hat? Or bright hearts placed over your nipples?

Would you dare wear this? These high-fashion outfits look more like elaborate Halloween costumes: A red piano, a hat and dress that look like fried eggs and toast and hats that look like inside-out umbrellas.

All Headline News reports that no color was too bright or too bold for Ruiz de la Prada, calling her show an "eye-popping visual treat that left audiences in awe and utterly entertained." Featured colors for her autumn/winter collection range from brilliant yellow to vivid orange to hot pink.

Sometimes the heels really are too high and the skirts really are too tight. A model walking the runway during New York Fashion Week fell on her tushie. And in her short little outfit, there really was quite a bit to see! (She wasn't hurt.)

These are not normal clothes. One yellow hat was shaped like an upside-down umbrella, while one model was covered in green rouge with hot pink hearts. It was like pop art come to life, reports All Headline News.

Shoulder pads are back in fashion! See some of the big-shouldered dresses and jackets shown at New York Fashion Week in February 2009.
