Ashlee told US Weekly in an interview why she resorted to plastic surgery at such a young age. "I used to look at a beautiful girl on the cover of a magazine and think I could never be that," Ashlee, now 23, said, noting she never denies that she had a nose job. Why? The change was just too dramatic. "I think as long as people have two eyes, then you probably know the answer," she said.

She warns that plastic surgery isn't for everyone. "(Plastic surgery) is something that everybody should think about for a really long time. Once you know it's something you really feel comfortable with, then to each their own," she explained to US Weekly. Despite the drastic makeover, Ashlee insists she never had a problem with the way she used to look. "I was never really unhappy with how I looked, (and) I don't think I am more beautiful than I was (before). I just see the same old goofy girl I see every day."
