So what does Eva think about the big cast demise on "Desperate Housewives" with the death of everyone's favorite adulterer Edie Britt, played by Nicollette Sheridan? In a video interview, she told AP reporter Sal Morgan: "Not only do I love Nicollette--she's one of my best maids--but she's so fun and energetic and truly one of a kind, but I love the character of Edie. I always thought she was the ballsiest character on the show. So I'm going to miss both Nicollette and Edie."
Co-star Teri Hatcher also had kind words for Sheridan, telling AP in a video interview: "When she was shooting her last episode, I made her a scrapbook as my last parting gift, and it made me go through all again to the beginning, like the shots of her throwing the ashes in my face or of her hosing me down on the lawn. And it reminded me of how great those two characters had been together. I think the thing is, though, that Nicollette seemed ready to leave, like it was something she wanted. So she was happy, and you have to wish your friends well. I mean, I think that character will be missed on the show. I don't think that character is replaceable, but I do believe that there are some kind of arenas, like a neighborhood, where as great as they are, people can come and go and there can be something new and exciting that you didn't expect.
