And critics sat up and took note of this when she showed up at Radio 99.9 Kiss Country's annual Chili Cook-Off in Florida on January 25 wearing high-waisted jeans with a tight black tank top and wide belt. As Fox News puts it, her "appearance left the gossip-world abuzz."

Meanwhile, sister Ashlee is blasting those who dare call her sister fat. She wrote on her blog that the comments about Jessica's weight are "embarrassing and belittling." She writes: "All women come in different shapes, sizes and forms and just because you're a celebrity, there shouldn't be a different standard."
Call it "The Cleavage and Country Tour." Jessica Simpson took the stage at the L.A. County Fair to promote her new country album in clothes that showed off her cleavage quite nicely.
