Jessica Simpson has a strange habit of ripping her pants on stage every time she performs at Madison Square Garden in New York City. So to prevent the embarrassing problem from happening when she performed there on February 12, 2009 she wore a very short skort.

"Every time I've performed at Madison Square Garden, my pants have completely ripped in half," Jess said before the show. "I decided to wear a little 'skort'--not a skirt, but some shorts just so they wouldn't split." The plan worked.

Jessica Simpson has gotten heavier! Check out this dowdy look in high-waisted "mom jeans" and a too-tight black tank top she wore in January 2009 at a chili cook-off in Florida.

Two days later on Valentine's Day, Jessica was on stage in Rochester, New York and while her wardrobe didn't malfunction, her mouth did. She messed up a song when she dedicated it to her boyfriend, Tony Romo. BANG Showbiz reports that Jessica introduced "You're my Sunday," a song she wrote for Romo, by saying: "I'm celebrating the life I'm living right now. Somebody came into my life and made me see myself in the best mirror possible, so I wrote this song for her." Uh...HER? Jess caught what she had done and then said she really meant she had written the song for her dog, Daisy. Uh...WHAT? Then she said, "Sorry, baby. This song's for you."

Jessica Simpson wants you to look at the perfume bottle. Chances are, you won't even notice it thanks to what she's wearing: a shimmering, low-cut red dress that exposes quite an eyeful of her breasts.

Jess wasn't done making the audience cringe. Before launching into her hit "Do You Know," she told the audience, "This song makes me want to suck face. I love kissing. With the right lips, of course."

With a dress like this--very low-cut on top and practically see through on the bottom--Jessica Simpson turned heads at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala in New York.
