Jessica is back! Granted, it was a small venue, but Jessica Simpson took to the stage at the Los Angeles County Fair in Pomona, California on September 20, bringing her newly discovered country act to Hollywood. She should call it "The Cleavage and Country Tour." True to her new country image, she wore tight-fitting jeans with an unbuttoned, oversize plaid work shirt--but under that work shirt was a sexy and very revealing bustier that showed off Jessica's cleavage quite nicely. It was the kind that is laced up the front, revealing a peek of skin right down the middle.
Calling her a "newly-minted hick chick," CMT News notes that her new album, "Do You Know," debuted at No. 1 on this week's country albums chart. Meanwhile, Reuters called her country career dead on arrival, noting it only sold 65,000 copies the first week it was in U.S. stores. Blame it on the skeptics--that is, real country music fans.
Also in the audience at the L.A. County Fair were Jess's sister and brother-in-law, Ashlee and Pete Wentz. Eyewitnesses say Wentz didn't care for the country sound, but Ashlee closely watched her sister. Do you think she was taking notes?
