Coming in second was Jessica Simpson with 17 percent of the votes, followed by Cameron Diaz with 6 percent. Only 2 percent think Mary-Kate Olsen is the feminine ideal.
The way we view celebrities also reflects the way we view our own figures. eDiets asked respondents whether the best figure is curvy because "it's all about proportion" or whether it's average--not too fat and not too thin. The answers were close! Thirty-six percent chose curvy, while 33 percent chose average.

"The numbers confirm what we've always believed," Susan Burke, vice president of nutrition services at eDiets.com, said in a news release announcing the study findings. "Most people understand that it takes a certain amount of work to overcome body image problems and settle into a healthy lifestyle, and different people reach that place in their own way."
