IN BRUGES: This is the first feature film from playwright Martin McDonagh, whose short film 'Six Shooter' won an Academy Award in 2006. Colin Farrell stars as Ray who is sent alongside Ken (played by Brendan Gleeson) to lay low in the medieval Flemish town of Bruges after a botched execution. The two mismatched hit men - Ray, who is antsy and can't stand the place & Ken, who finds their chocolate-box location strangely soothing as an antidote to being stuck with Ray. Stuck in Bruges, waiting for the call from gangster boss Harry (played by Ralph Fiennes). They become entangled in a series of bizarre and distracting local encounters while Ray's conscience is tortured by the memory of their recent crime.
