The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor was spotted in the UK shooting the new promo for British band Babybird.
RadarOnline reports: "A scruffy Johnny Depp was snapped in the UK on the set of a Babybird music video he is directing. The video, which was shot over two days at Hatfield House, stars Babybird lead singer Stephen Jones and 'Snatch' actor Stephen Graham."
Johnny was spotted on set sporting a beanie hat, heavy jacket and white-rimmed glasses.
The 46-year-old actor is known to be a fan of the band, who are best known for their 1996 hit 'You're Gorgeous'.
This is not the first time Johnny's love of music has been documented.
Last year, he admitted he has always wanted to sing a duet with Barry Manilow.
Referring to his musical movie 'Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street', Johnny said: "I don't think I would have attempted this kind of project with anyone but a director like Tim Burton. But if there's a chance of doing a duet with Barry Manilow now, then I'm in!"
