Mike Meredith developed the Go-Kouch as a way to support American football team the Cleveland Browns and usually drives the bizarre vehicle around the parking lot at the team’s stadium.

But when he decided to venture further into the grounds, a police officer issued him with a citation for operating an unregistered vehicle with expired plates.

Meredith is set to fight his case in court. He plans to show photographic evidence of other police officers waving him through.

Meredith – who built the strange transport by converting a ride-on lawnmower – could be given community service and further fines if found guilty.
