Austrian authorities say two human skulls and other skeletal remains have been found in the basement of a Vienna apartment building.
Police are on the scene, and officials say the circumstances surrounding the discovery remains unclear.
Investigators say a cleaning crew came across the skulls, along with two thigh bones and a shin bone. They say both skulls are missing their lower jaws.
Officials say the owner of the building, in Vienna's Neubau district near the Westbahnhof train station, died in 2002.
It was not immediately clear if Tuesday's discovery pointed to foul play.
Austria has been scandalized by allegations that 73-year-old Josef Fritzl imprisoned his daughter for 24 years and fathered her seven children.
