King Abdullah II of Jordan and Chilean president Michelle Bachelet have signed four cooperation accords in the opening day of the monarch's official visit to Chile.
Monday's accords aim at increasing cooperation in tourism, public works, science and investments.
Abdullah arrived the day before with Queen Rania and a delegation of businessmen.
After meeting with Abdullah, Bachelet said they agreed that Israel has the right to live in peace and the Palestinians have the right to a sovereign and free state.
Abdullah said his government wants to increase trade with Chile and attract Chilean investments.
He leaves on Wednesday for visits to Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Cuba and Honduras.
