In a Sept. 24 story about labor commissioners from various states urging the U.S. Senate to extend unemployment benefits, The Associated Press, relying on information from the New York State Department of Labor, erroneously reported that Mississippi was among the states represented at a news conference. The department now says Mississippi wasn't represented.
