El Salvador's Firpo defeated San Francisco 3-2 and ended the Panama club's hopes of qualifying for the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals on Wednesday.
Firpo stayed in contention for advancing from Group B, but San Francisco, with only 2 points from five games with one game left, was eliminated.
San Francisco's Temistocles Perez opened the scoring in the 37th minute by deflecting a shot off the leg of defender Manuel Salazar, but Dennis Alas evened the score for Firpo two minutes before halftime.
Christian Sanchez put Firpo ahead in the 49th and Patricio Gomez made it 3-1 only two minutes later.
Eduardo Jimenez narrowed the gap in the 83rd.
