A publicity stunt that gave away free gasoline has drawn mixed reviews in north London.
Those who filled their tanks at no charge on Friday were pleased _ unlike local people who were caught up in traffic congestion around the gas station.
Electronic Arts offered to give away 40 pounds (US$71) worth of fuel to each customer. The stunt promoted a video game.
Londoner Prince Davis said it was a "genius idea," and he didn't mind waiting 15 minutes in line for his petrol.
But Lynne Featherstone, who represents the area in the House of Commons, accused the publicists of trying to create a fuel riot. She called the stunt irresponsible and dangerous, and an inconvenience for local residents.
