Japanese stabbing suspect linked to messages warning in advance of attack in Tokyo

Here are some of the messages posted on an Internet bulletin board linked to the man suspected in a stabbing spree Sunday that left seven dead in a crowded Tokyo shopping district:

On April 20:

_ 1:50 p.m. "If I could be true to my desires, I would crash into a downtown pedestrian haven with a truck. I won't do it, though."

Five days before the attack:

_ June 3, 10:45 a.m. "I'm alone, even neglected on the Net"

_ June 3, 10:58 a.m. "Should I run over everyone who looks down on me?"

Four days prior:

_ June 4, 12:55 a.m. "Drop dead all winners. Then I'll be the only survivor in Japan. Ha ha."

Three days before:

_ June 5, 7:03 p.m. "I won't go to work any more. I'll be busy."

Two days before:

_ June 6, 2:48 a.m. "Desire ... murder. Dream ... dominating tabloid shows."

_ June 6, 8:49 p.m. "I bought five knives."

The day before:

_ June 7, 4:03 p.m. "I rented a truck without a problem. I'm all set."

The day of the attack:

_ June 8, 5:21 a.m. "I will kill people in Akihabara. I will use my truck to hit them, and if that doesn't work I will use my knives. Goodbye everyone."

_ June 8, 5:44 a.m. "Getting busted halfway through is the most pathetic scenario."

_ June 8, 12:10 p.m. "It's time."
