Nacional beat Coronel Bolognesi 1-0 Thursday to take a step toward the second round of the Copa Libertadores and end any chance for the Peruvian club.
Deivis Barone scored in the 32nd minute in a sluggish match marked by few chances by either side.
The victory before a crowd of 12,000 at Montevideo's Parque Central Stadium gave Nacional nine points atop Group 4, two ahead of Cienciano of Peru and Brazilian club Flamengo.
Bolognesi remained last in the group with two points. Only the top two advance to the second round of South America's premier club championship.
It was the second 1-0 victory by Nacional over Bolognesi, matching the Feb. 19 win in Tacna, Peru.
Cienciano and Flamengo face each other next week in Tacna. Nacional still has a match to play at home against Cienciano on April 23.
