Baby Ana Clara Abranches was found hugging a tree in a forest just 400 metres from the New Year’s Eve party in Rondonia, Brazil where she disappeared.
The 21 month old is believed to have fallen into a hole nearby, where one of her sandals was found.
Her father, Ronaldo Nunes, said: "God's hand helped my daughter. I knew we would get her back.”
Her mother added that her safe return was a “miracle”.
A team of more than 20 police and firefighters had searched the area with specially trained dogs without success until Ana was eventually found sleeping against the tree.
Ana’s body was covered in insect bites, as well as minor cuts and scratches.
Police chief Cezar Pizzano added: "We always believed she was still alive."
