Silicon Image Inc. said Monday it would bring in less revenue in the third quarter than it previously expected.
The Sunnyvale-based company makes delivery systems for high-definition content.
It said its third-quarter revenue will be about $37 million to $39 million, lower than the $44 million to $46 million in revenue it had expected on July 23. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected $45 million in revenue in the third quarter.
COO Hal Covert said the company was "disappointed" to lower its outlook.
Silicon Image shares fell 5 cents to $2.90 on Monday.
