A brief look at Saturday's 20th stage of the Tour de France:

Stage: A 53-kilometer (32.9-mile) time trial from Cerilly to Saint-Amand-Montrond.

Winner: Stefan Schumacher of Germany won his second time trial at this year's Tour. He completed the course in 1 hour, 3 minutes, 50 seconds. Two-time world Fabian Cancellara of Switzerland was second, 21 seconds behind. Kim Kirchen of Luxembourg finished 1 minute, 1 second to take third place.

Yellow Jersey: Spanish rider Carlos Sastre kept the overall lead, all but sealing his first Tour win at age 33. Only an accident or mishap can prevent him from winning the title after Sunday's last stage. He leads Cadel Evans of Australia by 1:05, and Bernhard Kohl of Austria by 1:20.

Quote of the Day: "Sastre's ride in the time trial today for me was a real surprise," _ Evans.

Next stage: Sunday's 21st and final stage of the Tour takes riders back into Paris on a largely processional 143-kilometer (88.9-mile) route around the city's landmarks, setting out from Etampes and finishing on the Champs-Elysees. By then, the remaining racers will have completed 3,559.5 kilometers (2,211.8 miles).
