Virender Sehwag's aggressive 68 led India to a 16-run victory against England in the third limited-overs international Thursday, which was decided under the Duckworth-Lewis method after play was halted due to bad light.

England was bowled out for 240 and India had reached 198-5 off 40 overs, 16 runs ahead of the par score of 182 _ under the Duckworth-Lewis calculation _ when fading light forced play to be stopped.

This victory gave India a 3-0 lead in the seven-match series, having won the first one-dayer by 158 runs and the second game by 54 runs.

Yuvraj Singh (38) and skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni (29 not out) were the other significant contributions for India, while pace bowler Andrew Flintoff (3-31) was the pick of England's bowlers.

England had earlier squandered a good start as its middle-order caved in against Indian spin after a 79-run opening partnership between Ravi Bopara (60) and Ian Bell (46).

Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh claimed his 200th wicket in one-day internationals when he dismissed Owais Shah (40), returning figures of 3-31 to be the best of the Indian bowlers.
