Gloucester prop Paul Doran-Jones looks set to make his England debut against Argentina on Saturday after David Wilson and David Barnes pulled out injured.

Wilson and Barnes were only in the squad because of injuries to several other frontrow players, and their withdrawal leaves Doran-Jones likely to play at Twickenham after just 266 minutes of Premiership rugby.

Doran-Jones joined Gloucester this season from London Welsh and is a likely replacement because he can cover at both tighthead and loosehead.

Wilson injured his neck in Saturday's 18-9 loss to Australia and Barnes hurt his knee in training Tuesday.

England was already without props Phil Vickery, Julian White, Jason Hobson and Andrew Sheridan.
