Mark Webber wants his Red Bull team to aim high after already matching his 2007 points haul after just five rounds this season.
Webber's seventh-place finish in Turkey took him to 10 points for the year.
The Australian has secured points in four consecutive races since retiring at his home grand prix in Melbourne to start the season.
There is a newfound reliability in the Red Bull machine and Webber is benefitting.
"Getting more points is good for the team, especially after the way they turned my car round after my shunt on Friday," Webber said.
"But we're not satisfied with getting just points now. We want to get more."
"I have the same number of points that I had in total last year, so we're doing OK."
While satisfied with adding to his total, Webber said the tactical nature of the race made for a less than thrilling race behind the wheel.
"It wasn't the most exciting race. I was just trying to hold on to Fernando (Alonso), which wasn't easy as he was a bit too strong for us," Webber explained.
"It would have been nice to be able to fight him a little bit more. I was cruising a little in the last stint, as (Nico) Rosberg wasn't a threat."
Team-mate David Coulthard, who has had his year cruelled by car problems, narrowly missed points in an encouraging performance.
"I've looked around my car and there's no damage, so at least we finished a race without colliding with anyone," Coulthard said after finishing ninth.
"I raced as hard as I could. I dropped half a second just before my second pit stop and came out just behind Nico, which was probably the deciding factor."
