Earlimart - An indie rock band from Los Angeles, Earlimart’s music is an experimental mix of dreamy pop and folksy rock tunes. Their first albums Filthy Doorways and Kingdom of Champions were noted for unconventional songwriting. But with their third album Avenues in 2003 the band had moved from punk style to a more hypnotic one. Everyone Down Here (2003) and Treble & Tremble (2003) followed. Their 2007 album Mentor Tormentor moved further away from their punk roots to a more spacey tone which was forged more powerfully in the 2008 album Hymn and Her.
