James Franco is quickly taking over the small screen.
We've already seen him this season as a surprise guest on 'Saturday Night Live.' He also has an upcoming arc on 'General Hospital,' which we're, um, still trying to wrap our heads around.
Now, he's set to follow that with a guest appearance on '30 Rock.' According to the Ausiello Files, Franco will play a version of himself who winds up in a fake relationship with Jenna (Jane Krakowski), all orchestrated by their agents.
With so many different TV roles in the works, we're beginning to wonder if there's anything James Franco can't do. At a turn, he can go from dramatic ('Milk'; TV's 'James Dean'), to hilarious ('Pineapple Express') to ... soap operas (yep, still confused). Clearly, there are no limits to his talents -- which is why we're itching to see more of him on TV. So to help, we came up with a list of shows that James Franco should appear on next:
'Desperate Housewives'
A hot young guy (Franco) moves into the neighborhood and starts stirring up trouble for the ladies. See, his wife works days and he likes to stay at home baking cherry pies, in his underwear. How much pie can one street handle? And how long before Gabrielle can't take it anymore and needs to get a slice of her own?
'The Girls Next Door'
It looks like things don't work out with the new girls, so Hef starts up a "bromance" with Franco. Movie nights, monster truck rallies, and, you know, James gives a mean back massage. Everything's perfect ... until Justin Timberlake shows up! Always with the dance moves and the singing and that smooth falsetto. Oh, these "girls" are fighting nasty!
'Deadliest Catch'
Maybe when Franco needs to take a break from all his acting work, he can vacation aboard the Northwestern and help the boys nab some crab. It'll be a nice relaxing getaway before he jumps into his next project. Nothing like clear skies, open seas and hundred-foot waves to calm the spirit and the mind.
'Chuck'
Franco plays a sleeper agent for the enemy who's trigger is sex. Then he starts dating Sarah. How long until things get ... dangerous! And how will Chuck handle his jealousy? Are his newfound powers any match for the Franconator?
'The Hills'
Like, OMG, James just totally moved in and you would not believe the drama! He's all like "I'm this big movie star and I've won awards," and I'm like, "So what! I'm Kristin Cavallari! I can like act and start fights and whatever!" Who does he think he is anyway? Nobody's even heard of 'Spider-Man!'
'16 and Pregnant'
Because he's James Franco. He can do anything!
